Amid the cold drizzle, hundreds of visitors were captivated with the Samurai Fes held from Feb. 22 (Thursday) to 25 (Sunday) at Tokyo Metropolitan Ueno Park.
This was the second Samurai Fes since the COVID-19 pandemic was over.
Skylets members joined the Fes as volunteers.
I worked at a shop which displayed collectin of authentic armors and gave visitors an experience to wear Samurai costume for 2000 yen per person for 15 minutes. Our job was to have the guests come back to the shop in 15 minutes and take a lot of photos of them.
And another Skylets members walked around the entrance gate and navigated visitors where to go.

The left image: You can see various strikng poses of samurai.
The middle image: They are some of the children's armors.
The right image: The shop displays an authentic suit of armor which was Ii Naomasa's (井伊直政) in his young days. Naomasa (1561~1602)was regarded as one of the Four Guardians of TOKUGAWA Ieyasu.
You'll come across fans cosplaying as samurai when you walk around the cite for a few minutes.
Food stalls serve various kinds of fast foods and snacks, while other stalls sell goods related to samurai. The left image shows a shop that sells toys such as yo-yo which children play with.
The right image shows a shop where people enjoy drinking variety of Sake. The middle image shows a stall selling steamed potato with butter.
You can enjoy the active and beautiful samurais' performances on the stage.
